Webthesurfi Rugs Webdesign: A SEO Contest Observation

Webthesurfi Rugs Webdesign are the keywords that we are currently competing to top in the Google SERPs. Clairemont Design spearheaded this contest, which started last middle of March and will end in the 2nd week of April.

This is my very first SEO contest, and I really feel its thrill. My original intention why I joined, is to drive new traffic to my main site. Winning is not really my aim because truthfully, I still have a lot of things to learn about search engine optimization.

When I joined this contest, I was actually thinking that I would learn a lot about SEO since I will do my best to at least put my entry in a higher rank. Thus, it will drive me to be more resourceful and find things that I don't know about.

At this very moment, I can already tell how those 4 entries made their way to the top. And it's very obvious that their efforts are much larger than mine, though I believe that I also did a tremendous job so that my entry won't end up in the bottom list.

One thing I learned about being part in this contest is, if you are wise enough, you can actually mimic the strategy of the other contestants. This, is because of the web's transparency.

A contestant who is wondering why this certain entry is constantly topping the SERP, would eventually do some analysis and will pull out resources to diagnose it. After the nosing around, if you are really keen to details, before you know it, you already discovered their secrets.

For the first quarter of this year, there are only 3 keywords that won't get easily erased from my mind...webthesurfi rugs webdesign.

Rumination is a style of thinking in which, like a hamster in a cage, you run in tight circles on a treadmill in your brain. It means obsessing about problems, about a loss, about any kind of a setback or ambiguity without moving past thought into the realm of action.

Chimphobia

We were actually talking in our Pysch 141 class last week about the the contributions of our genetic structure in the changes of our behaviours. And then we ended up discussing about the great resemblance of chimpanzees’ genetic structure to human beings’. The chimpz are humans closest relatives. The percentage of resemblance is 99.9%. And it’s only the gene which made our jaws move that made us different from them. Oh, well it’s ironic because the chimpz greatly denied it. What a very shocking reaction form our beloved chimpz! They cannot accept the fact that assholes and asswipes like us are claiming them as our closest relatives. Ahehehehe! Just kidding! (Well, we really don’t know for sure. Hahahaha!)

another old photo that I edited in photoshop...anyways, all the photos I posted in here are captured only using the low-res digicam of my phone...hehehe...this one here is ME...hehehe...I'm actually wearing a hood in that photo...I searched for stained background pics in google and played with blending modes to reach that effect...

I edited this a few days before November...it was the first week of sembreak that's why...I found an old group photo last christmas and then I searched a gothic inspired wallpaper in google. it fits for the halloween season...I did some retouching to get that gothic effect, then played a lil bit with the blending modes and voila!

hahaha...this is actually an old photo...last april i guess...I tried to make it look like a miniature set, but it seems like it's too different from the outcome...anyways, just for documentation purposes...hehehehe...i used lens blur, quick mask, gradient and little image adjustments.

this is my gothic inspired photo. i just browsed some gothic wallpapers in google and used blending modes to achieve the dark, gothic effect...

This is the very first photo posted in this blog. It's the end of the semester that's why I have the time to learn adobe photoshop by myself. I'm not good with this kind of stuff, but I became interested when I saw lot of marvelous photos (edited using AP) posted around the net.
